Warranty
Franke products are built to last. From our commitment to using only the finest quality materials to the state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques we employ, we have absolute confidence in every product in our range.
The Franke General Warranty
Our warranty against manufacturing defects will apply, providing the product has been installed in accordance with Franke's
installation instructions, has been used as recommended by Franke in normal domestic situations and a claim has been made in accordance with all applicable warranty terms and conditions (including those set out below).
This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, willful or accidental damage, damage caused by negligence, normal wear and
tear, scuffs or scratches, improper installation, improper storage, abnormal usage (including usage in extreme temperatures) or damage caused by improper maintenance or cleaning (including the use of unidentified chemicals or cleaners containing corrosive agents). Damage caused by impurities in the water supply or acts or events beyond our control are not covered.
If you wish to make a claim under this warranty, you must contact Franke as soon as you discover the manufacturing defect, and must not
use or install the product after you have discovered the defect. Any claims must be received within the specified warranty period and must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice confirming the date of purchase and proof of ownership [if you are not the original purchaser of the Franke product,
Franke may also require you to provide proof that the benefit of this warranty has been transferred to you].
If Franke finds that a Franke product has a manufacturing defect and a valid claim has been made under this warranty, Franke will replace
or repair the defective product. Franke will, at its discretion, decide whether to replace or repair the defective product and this will be Franke’s only
obligation under this warranty with regard to the defective product. Franke may, at its discretion, agree to cover associated or ancillary costs
incurred by you as a result of replacement or repair of Franke products under this warranty. Any such costs must be reasonable and approved in advance by Franke. Franke reserves the right to inspect the product and the installation (or images of the product and installation) prior to agreeing to cover a claim under this warranty.
Franke may discontinue products from time to time and makes no guarantee that it will continue to hold stock of spare products or spare
parts for discontinued products. Franke’s liability under this guarantee to repair or replace a defective product that has been discontinued will be
subject to Franke having the relevant product or spare parts in stock. If Franke discontinues a product, it will make reasonable efforts to continue to keep spare parts in stock for that product for at least five years after it is discontinued.
Any product or part which has been repaired or altered in any manner outside of Franke's factory, unless previously authorised in writing
by Franke, will void this guarantee. Please contact us if you have any queries about whether your Franke product is covered by this warranty, or about how to make a claim under this warranty. Please see www.franke.com for details of your local Franke company.
It should be noted that in all instances, Franke’s decision is final.
If you are a consumer, you have rights under law relating to the quality of the Franke product you have purchased, in addition to the rights
offered under this warranty. This guarantee is in addition to and does not affect your legal rights.
